The Purple Robe Jesus Wore

Jesus was more than a man who did good things.
He is the God man from the Scriptures.
Well, the day they were to take Him before Pilate; I believe Jesus was wearing a robe.
They striped Him of the robe and casts lots.
What a shame to have been disrobed in every sense of the word!!!
It must have been embarrassing for Jesus to have gone through but He did it for you and me.
The robe has a great significance to us as Christians or should.
Why?
Because it was the vesture that God's Son wore before it was taken off Him.
May we get  a glimpse of the way things were then.
May we see the awfulness that Jesus went through for you and me.
For He gave all to save all that would come to Him.
