The Irish Way

The Irish Way      February 25, 2016

The revolutions over we finally have our way
Celebrate our Irish culture, do it every day
From the streets of Ireland to Glasgow town
New York and Boston you can hear the sound
Sydney, Melbourne, our Australian Friend
They stood beside us till the very end
The walls have crumbled and tumbled down
The people are free again, you and me
A democratic country with thirty-two
A nation again for me and you
Dark days gone, the sun has come
Sing out for Ireland everyone
The revolutions over we finally have our say
Celebrate our Irish culture, do it every day
