 once upon a time

johnmcguckin78gmailcomheathergibsonjohnnyduncangeishashadowsontheheart
STEP into the darkness, hide from the light
we were never meant to be heroes. Better,
that we are hidden, not meant to inflict death
upon a people who are no different.
We are one race the human race.

Better we don't be declared heroic for killing
and maiming one another. perhaps in the dark,
light would enter and place the misery at the doors
of the rich who portray guileless innocence.

vote for him, we need to ask, who are you.
Safe in anonymity, but once we the people of
the world step into their darkness we can and will shed
the dark, letting light into our minds, start the epic
task of stepping into the darkness to live for the light.
