The Word of life existed,
From the very beginning;
Because God had persisted,
Long before any sinning.
We have heard and we have seen,
We have observed and have touched;
Everything that has been,
As our hands even clutched.
As this life has been revealed,
What we have to testify;
The secrets have been unsealed,
Of truth we cannot deny.
For of this eternal life,
In presence of the Father;
Was revealed with no more strife,
Since Christ is our Brother.
This is the life we have heard,
Through a new relationship;
Given to us through the Word,
For our citizenship.
A citizenship given,
And as adopted children;
To a Father in Heaven,
As a daughter or a son.
So all the things that we write,
Completely fills us with joy;
As we remain in the light,
From the love that we employ.
Just as God is in the light,
There is no darkness in Him;
So if you do what is right,
He will give spiritual vim.
If you say you bond with God,
But you still live in the dark;
You are lying and a fraud,
Untruthful where you embark.
