Eleven Years and One Month Ago

Day of our family changing for the worst is what befell us on this day.
Dad died leaving Ervin and I to be orphans.
It is so sad to know the parents we grew up with are no longer a part of our lives as far as being around us.
You see, it was Mom who was first called away from here and then five years later or so there was Dad to have die too.
They both died at an early age and was carried away from here to the Lord's presence.
I know that is where my parents are today and will be for all eternity.
God saved them both on the same night while I wasn't at home but soon was made aware of what happened.
I am most glad to know where they are for I will be able to see them again.
Bless You, Lord, for having called them to Your side.
To see them and know who they are may You be eternally blessed.
I am most happy You have allowed me to be a part of the Home going.
I know I don't deserve to go but You have made me to be.
The Lord be continually praised for all time is my hope and prayer.
Knowing You gave all to save all the ones who' d come to You.
May many more find their way to Jesus by Yourself, Lord.
