He speaks to me
with his eyes,
so warm and
so kind, the
love light
shining
through.
He speaks to me
with his arms,
embracing me
as we dance
my hand at
rest upon
his heart.
He speaks to me
with his lips,
gently pressing
them against
my own with
a soulful
yearning
we both
can feel.
He speaks to me
with his heart,
in the way his
genuine smile
greets me each
time he looks
my way or
takes my
hand in his.
He speaks to me
in myriad ways,
with a feeling
so strong, so
undeniable
it takes the
very breath
from my
chest.
And I know
I could fall,
and I could stay,
and my heart
could speak
with his
forever.
...with hope in my heart
