New Temp Job by His Leading

February 26th one life chapter soon to be closed
Phone call from employment agency disclosed
March 4th last day of almost 4 year temp position
News expected due to overseas work migration

Last week of February also 5 year anniversary
Prior 16 plus year employment ended suddenly
Economic downturn led to cut backs in company
Twice since then helped with year-end inventory

Last Friday as I checked email alert job postings
90-day temp job data entry sensed God prompting
Unable to access job details without applying online
Called agency and spoke to a recruiter the first time

He explained job was at a large insurance company
Many temps they have sent are placed permanently
He sent me two assessment tests and re-registration
Late last Friday, I finished and sent all documentation

On Monday, employment forms online I completed
Company info with Tuesday PM interview scheduled
Left temp job an hour early Tuesday to better prepare
Made dry run on way home to know how to get there

Recruiter told interviewer about my voice condition
Interviewer asked I explained briefly to his satisfaction
He put me at ease my voice not be needed for position
All of these signs I saw as God's plan clearly in action

During the interview, I made points of connection
He noted my data entry experience and job duration
Gave company history, explained position in detail
Including 4-week training and all that would entail

His interview questions were more general in nature
I answered each one to the best of my ability for sure
It gave me the chance to further make a connection
Between my work experience related to the position

He indicated he would be making his decision Friday
My recruiter would let me know the results either way
Agency called today with great news they want me
All praises go to God for how He worked it out to be
