I Want My Peace
she whispers into my ear at night
dead bones she is
disintegrating
words collapse in my ears
they are laden with bile
stooped she is
decomposing as she speaks
into the cochlea
the words an ant trail into
my brain
I do not want to listen
her arm falls off
she hops on half a leg
her eyeball is leaking
I do not understand why she
visits me
I do not understand why the one-sided
conversation
nightly
rambles on
does she not know
she is gone
her remains crowned
in an urn
in a damp basement tomb
with her dairy princess's tiara
go away
and drag your remains
to another realm
I want my peace.
