'' They Believe They Are Gods ''

Our need to be free,
I'm sure you'll agree,
Is what really lights our fire,
It is a problem some cannot see,
To give it they don't have the desire.

They want control,
You must play their role,
Freedom is a right they'll withhold,
These very people would steal your soul,
To escape them you need to be bold.

Where are they found,
They're all around,
There'll be times you won't even know,
Trying to work you into the ground,
These people are the lowest of the low.

When they appear,
It's not made clear,
Their aim is put you asunder,
One trick is the installation of fear,
Your integrity they will then plunder.

Believe or grieve,
You're pain they'll relieve,
In their promises you'll then become lost,
From their greed there'll be no reprieve.
Their services do come at a cost.

You can be sure,
Their idea of a cure,
Will not augur well in your favour,
You'll find their morals are not so pure,
Which will leave a distinct nasty flavour.

A life of leisure,
Filled with pleasure,
On our vulnerabilities they'll feed,
Lavish living is their ultimate treasure,
They are totally obsessed by greed.

While they live well,
You're going through Hell,
All religions are awash with frauds,
In lies and deceit they all excel,
Problem is,
