Get rid of your lies,
Speak only the truth;
Open up your eyes,
Not to be uncouth.
Anger without sin,
Wrath not before sleep;
For what that has been,
Later you will reap.
Give not the devil,
Any chance to sow;
He will plant evil,
When you never know.
Thieves must stop stealing,
And find a good job;
They will be dealing,
With God what they rob.
Do well with your hands,
Something they can share;
At times it demands,
To bond them in prayer.
Say nothing to hurt,
Another person;
So be on alert,
Offending someone.
Speak just what is good,
As to render aid;
Saying what you should,
So that fears will fade.
What you say will serve,
Those who will hear you;
Towards you it will curve,
By telling all true.
The Holy Spirit,
Just might get upset;
Through wrong merit,
That would cause you debt.
Be kind to each one,
Forgiving others;
God will through His Son,
Forgive your brothers.
