Kiss me

Kiss me once more before you go,

Kiss me once more and make it slow,

Feel my poor heart pressed to your breast,

Take all the time that you have left.

Kiss me once more the hour is late,

Kiss me once more for old times' sake,

Hold me the way you used to do,

Five minutes more of loving you.

Kiss me once more the time is near,

Kiss me once more goodbye my dear,

Leave me with memories of a time,

Leave me with love that once was mine.

Kiss me once more I beg you please,

Kiss me once more before you leave,

These are not teardrops in my eyes,

It's just the hour and I'm so tired.

Kiss me once more before you go,

Kiss me once more and make it slow,

Feel my poor heart pressed to your breast,

Take all the time that you have left.
