Inspiration Inspires

Inspiration inspires good or bad in this fight
Oh Lord, only by thy side can I do right
Whether seeking revenge is to be taken
Or wickedness to be forsaken
Keep my mind awash in thy light
For without thy guidance I have no sight
Great is the failure of man's might
Temptation is so deceptively
Lord I can't trust my appetite
Keep me perceptively
or I might take a bite
Watch over me while I sleep
And let safety be safe
When safety is again safe to keep
Forgive me for my goat ways
but I rather be a sheep
You hold all my days
and controls what I reap
Your trust and faith always pays
When satisfaction has reached its peak
