We've both been hurt before,
two fragile hearts waking to
the possibility of opening up
only to be hurt once again.
But the connection is undeniable
We've both been in love before,
two people who have known
the exhilaration of a passion
that seems never to wane.
But the feeling of previous loss looms
We've both come to this crossroad,
two people who both want to
give of themselves to another
and witness each other's lives.
And the choice is to move forward or run
We've both seen life with new eyes,
two romantics who simply want to
allow this time to unfold and
never stop feeling this way.
Are you ready to begin this adventure?
Then love me and let go.
