Chasm so deep
and wide
Each stuck on the
other side
Impossible to go
across it
Forever separate
they sit
No way to touch
each other
Not even words
go over
Vision also fading
away slowly
Knee joints going
wobbly
In the same house
they stay
But separately they
wither away
and wide
