You can fool, other people, but you cant fool god, so be careful, what you do and say
because, god, knows, us completely, in every, which way
We all fall short,
Everyone of us, in many sorts
We may tell, a little, fib, or lie
as we look away, from god, and sometimes shy
But, as we do, so very well, know
God, is watching, and listening, to us, everywhere we go
You may fool, other people, and slip, and slide
but, nothing, from god, can you hide
Keep your heart intentions, crystal clear
dont push god away, always hold him, close and near
Life, is not, always very easy
Things, are not, always, warm, and breezy
The waters, can turn, freezing, icey, bitter, cold
making you feel, so beaten, exhausted, weathered and old
Keep your heart, warm, and aglow
keep, god in your heart, and just know, god is with us, night and day, in all, that we think, say, and do, in everything, and everywhere that we go
