Ten Of Us And None Of Them

Ten Of Us And None Of Them          March 12 2016

Ten of us and none of them

For mother Ireland we'd do it again

We fought the fight, no prison clothes

Political status, everyone knows

The cells from hell with the deadly smell

We faced it all, our Irish hell

Long days of pain, no England gain

If we had to do it again, we'd do the same

Ten Irishmen died as our people cried

No civil rights they were denied

Killed on our streets or killed in jail

Irish people will never fail

They burned our homes, they took our land

They came with vengeance, we made our stand

The little streets where the black flags fly

Will tell our children when they ask why

Ireland free for you and me

This is the way it has to be

They faced their enemy in their killing cell

Beaten daily in their “H” block hell

Freedom to live the Irish way

“Ourselves Alone” they've gone away

Ten of us and none of them

For mother Ireland we'd do it again
