Too many people.

Too many people on the land.

Can i escape this turmoil.

this frenetic craziness on the land.

I'll walk away better still let's just up stakes and go.

People crowd in and mill about my space.

Why do they think it's alright to shout and scream.

perhaps I'm the problem, not able to withstand

too many people crowding all over the land.

Need a distraction, hide from the mob

don't let them in, bar doors and windows.

Okay inside quiet, serene, reading.

then why do I feel the need of company

when I've just escaped the mob.

Maybe I need to accept, people, but

that's easy to think. Harder to do when

the noise of too many people on the land

rises up and threatens to engulf me.
