The Slumber
When are we going to wake
up from this slumber
And realize that the deaths
are not just a number
A number that we read in the
newspaper and forget
Or hear on the television and
don't bother to relate
Relate to the actual sufferings
of our own kind
The ultimate downfall of the
whole mankind
One day our own lives may
get affected firsthand
Then we will really open our
eyes and understand
Understand that it is too late...
