I Know We Did It Right March 26, 2016
Just reading about my country, I know we did it right
We fought the foreign empire, we'll never give up the fight
The people of Ireland stood together to make our country free
Facing the force, they fought for freedom for you and me
We won the day but wait for the others to come home
Twenty six of Irelands best will make sure that you're not alone
The day will come, we know it will, a nation once again
Our heroes of the past, Ireland's women and men
Ireland free for you and me, our children growing free
Peace at last, remember the past, just you wait and see
Just reading about my country, I know we did it right
