WINE AND GATES

Taken With Hands Meant For This World?

yearning, earning the stone?
a joy for you, the stare of unto
misery of others in a passion's lending tone
voice seen once, for a caring fairing to hold

but twice, is a hand to know
the vision of tantamount, focus upon these...
the grace to open a heart to an unerring love
bracing for the smile that owns an admiration to appease

been, thirsty, haunting
the played deem of rages in the miracles we let
the taste of doles in the new, now the scope of finding
penny's for the tooth, happiness for the sweetness of appetites, whetted

could we believe in another God, if these shoes fit too well?
same day as yesterday, is the ache of divine shame, is to be anyhow's gift?
choices made, choices said, for a light in the window, does this mind remember angel's?
or is this fist of culture, an angry devil to come, for the oughting dreams that lived?

tonight, we'll know...
the thought of ourselves in the paces and wagering eyes of other's
to keep and collect a new one, the crazes of seem for the acts of whim, a time to owe
worth every step forward, if not simplicity to ask, is we ever the sense, thought for lover's?

tonight, we'll know...
moments to think better things into vows of just and destiny samed, for a little more
silence of frustration, no matter made or found to fade, is the gift of all in the low?
high as a shared mind can be, this tongue of pauses reason's, has you in mind for worth...

tonight, we'll know...
right or rancor in the name of severity seen, for the sake of another
is all and well waiting upon the senses it is given, for a place to give a savior those
time cleared and found greater for a sincere fear, of such in the light, me and mine to bother
