Rain lands upon the ground
on this night of fright,
crows gather in the darkness
just waiting for a bite.
Children scream loudly
as ghosts and goblins appear,
they leave nothing behind
nothing, but a world of fear.
Tricksters have the advantage
turning into something scary,
no eyes, dead smiles on their faces
parents and children become wary.
No moon lights the sky
hear the beating heart in your ear,
blood rushes through your veins
you are filled with much fear.
The blackness of Halloween
will scare you to death,
make you gurgle on your blood
when you take your final breath.
When you go trick or treating
on this very night,
be careful of your surroundings
you might be in for a terrible fright.
