'' Which One Mirrors Your Reflection ''
In our quest to exist,
We aid and assist,
Those who require our assistance,
Nothing or nobody will be dismissed,
To help others we show such persistence.
We see someone lying,
Perhaps they are dying,
If in need we will rarely walk by,
With common decency we are complying,
We refuse to allow them to die.
What reassures,
Is some search for cures,
In order that their lives we prolong,
To give you back what's essentially yours,
To make them once again strong.
On the other hand,
I cannot understand,
The same species can be evil and cruel,
The flames of hatred is what some have fanned,
Their actions are those of the fool.
Genocide's their game,
God's will they claim,
Armed with their weapons of woe,
The say their deities resolve them of blame,
Why they murder, there's none of them know.
Cruelty is their God,
That's what they laud,
Killing innocents in a barbaric way,
To those dictators, they respect and applaud,
Self-sacrifice doesn't hold any sway.
That's the Human Being,
What side are you seeing?
Do you destroy or give others protection?
Running to one, from the other fleeing,
