Put to death the worldly treasures,
Perversion that bring the pleasures;
Sexual sin with lust and greed,
That seems to spread just like a weed.
 
Because of sin God shows His wrath,
In the wake of the aftermath;
On those who refuse to obey,
Shunning God as they go astray.
 
As holy people God has chose,
Be sympathetic as love flows;
So be humble, patient and kind,
Showing patience to ease the mind.
 
Endure others as you forgive,
Being in harmony to live;
Forgive as the Lord forgave you,
Accepting other points of view.
 
Be loving to tie it together,
Sharing the love as you gather;
Let the peace of Christ control you,
Giving insight as to construe.
 
Let the peace of Christ rule your heart,
Capable to let you impart;
Remembering in unity,
As one body in purity.
 
Let the Word of Christ dwell within,
Richly in wisdom without sin;
The wisdom that the Lord has taught,
And what His blood had also bought.
 
Sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs,
With all the praises that prolongs;
Singing with the grace in your heart,
In your mind never to depart.
 
Music has the power to proclaim,
All that you do within His name;
Giving thanks to the Father through,
Jesus Christ for purifying you.
