It's true.

The politician makes a statement

The media say the statement is true

Talk shows on radio and tv debate it.

Armchair pundits lap it up, praise it.

The statement doesn't need to be true

it belongs to the establishment, therefore

of course it will benefit our controllers.

After all the media own the politician.

After all we sit and watch, listen to the

plaudits spewing forth from TV anchors.

How can we doubt them they wouldn't lie.

Ah now they wouldn't,would they.

we the drones should question the odd

statement we hear from our (leaders)

Now where are we, oh i know if we you

or I object they'd send in the army or police.

What I cannot believe is that the army and police

are our brothers, husbands, wife's, children,

but still they do as the media say, the politician

Attested to the truth of their statement, so

shoot to kill anyone who disagrees, he who

pays the ferryman will always hold sway.
