Poetic-Verses

'' The Sun Mustn't Set ''

We had a fight,

Late one night,

I don't know who was right or wrong,

Neither of us wanted to feel contrite,

Now Hell is where I belong.

Comments very intrusive,

We were both abusive,

Everything to us was fair game,

With loving relations, it was not conducive,

Then again, what's in a name.

I stormed out,

Let out a shout,

This time I will not be back,

I left the bastard without any doubt,

My resolve she would never crack.

I'd stay away,

Just one more day,

Then normality would again resume,

Both of us would then show some dismay,

Then get rid of the doom and gloom.

We've done it before,

Although quite sore,

We both knew it wouldn't last,

Contrition from us both would be to the fore,

Soon it would be in the past.

Later that day,

I made my play,

Everything would work out fine,

When my daughter said, Mums gone away,

A shiver ran down my spine.

In tears she cried,

The truth I can't hide,

She gave in when you both parted,

She took some pills and later died,

You had left her broken hearted.

This isn't fair,

She was aware,

Between us there was no hate,

Now I'm left in total despair,

Hopelessness will now be my fate.

If you have a dispute,

Try to be astute,

Don't Let the future fill you with regret,

Make up right away, do not become mute,

On altercations,
