A chip off the old --BLOCK
i cant claim, fame, or fortune--, to the way, my own children, choose-, to talk, and often --WALK

A chip, off the old--BLOCK
i dont agree with how-- so -ruthlessly--, hurtfully, --and --harmfully--, that -at -many--times,-- they -talk- -act -and -so -over--confidently, --shamelessly--- uncaringly  --walk--and--TALK

a chip off the old block, is what in my life, living, and love,--i-- always -strived,- to -become -and --BE
like --my --dear --old --dad,---MY--LOVING--HENRY

A chip off the old block, is who and what, i wanted---to--BECOME
like my grandfather, who was so loving, kind, gentle and a family, man with ten kids, and great--loving--FUN

A chip off the-old-- BLOCK
it disturbs me, how my children, walk there walk, and talk there--TALK

A chip off the old block, they choose not to--BE
as they are growing older, and so much better and brighter, and bolder than--ME
