Oh, I am as contented as I can possibly be.
I was completely lost when Jesus Christ reached out,
and decided to rescue me.
Oh, my many willful sins were drowning me into the
darkest and deepest sea! Jesus Christ reached out
his loving hands and rescued me.
Once I was blinded by sinful shame as I could possibly be.
My spiritual eyes could not behold the Son of God!
He opened up mine eyes so I could see him. I saw him in
all of his glory!
Once I was busy running around in circles, and rapidly getting nowhere.
My spirit was completely broken, when Jesus Christ rescued me.
I was losing my mind, and track of all time-when Jesus Christ
liberated me!
Once I was lost in the rat race of the maddening crowd. Many people
were talking much too loud for me to hear Jesus Christ's voice.
He was tenderly speaking to me. He promised to rescue me!
Once I was in bondage to sin. Sin's chains were binding me. Jesus Christ
unlocked my chains, and set my captive spirit, soul, body, and mind free.
Yes, I was as happy as I could possibly, the very day, Jesus Christ rescued me!
