War Poem Two
They will sleep without their soldier's names
They will not shed tears nor bear blames
... dizzied by destruction
addressed by mischiefs of corruption
They laugh, rain, and burst into flames.
Surprise arrives swift without caution to spare
Deception is keening to have special care
Fear brings weakness of nerves to surface
Bravery sweats out courage through purpose
Fireflies possess magic that sparks night-air
Random panic and phobias become acute
Everything collapses as a fiddler croons mute
The roof under his feet gives way
Tuned violins kneel to pray
Surely, accept no portion of a stranger's soup.
