Listen people as I speak,
Listen as I testify;
It is the Lord that you seek,
That you have tried to deny.
For He is the Lord your God,
But I do not criticize;
You do not honor and laud,
But need to open your eyes.
You and your sacrifices,
To the idols of false gods;
Honoring with some spices,
In a world which many frauds.
But I can never accept,
Sacrificial animals;
Of your errors to be swept,
For your nights in the brothels.
Because every creature,
As living in the forest;
He loves to care and nurture,
Has always been His interest.
He knows each bird in the air,
All the crops within the field;
Always showing He does care,
That harvesting brings high yield.
If you are feeling hungry,
He will make sure you are fed;
No need to become angry,
Always be joyful instead.
Do you eat the meat of bulls,
Or drink the blood of the goats;
Feasting with a bunch of fools,
While on their fishing boats.
Bring your thanks and sacrifice,
Keep your vows to the Most High;
Let nothing on earth entice,
Never questioning Him why.
Call on God in times of pain,
For the Savior of the heart;
The King of kings that will reign,
That stifles pain to depart.
