SOME LIGHT OF DAY By Oliver Plaice, www.PoetryPoem.com/oliverspoems Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
This thing has engaged me into an inferno of turmoil
Now I am unable to turn. And yet there seems nothing
My eyes stare as into an opalescent glass window...
Yet there is nothing, but black space and internal war
I run into the sun, only to find this fire ball melted
Crying out into the night sky for salvation nothing returns
Alone my thoughts ride with the Valkyries, they then vanish
leaving me to burn alone with my turmoil in this darkness
This turmoil which remounts me makes me suffer with such a sad heart
Counting my fingers backwards for forgiveness I never get any from him
The darkness begins to smother me, and yet I can see a light out there
Up on high there is a sign that maybe will make me see some light of day
