lost and then found

But the stars make everything seem small

Lost in the nebula
trying to see through the clouds
Seeing the colors
Red's and blue's yellows to
Reaching out through the stars
To see the beginning of life as we know it
Could have red suns
Maybe blue moons and baby blue stars
Crystal chandeliers and golden candlesticks
Silver spoons and fine china
But the stars make things here seem small
wondering comets meteors and shooting stars abound
Sparks fly all through space
And yet I feel there still the chase
For love conquers the imagination
And it seems light years from your mind
The heart breaks sometimes
Then it lifts you up
Then you see the way it was
And dream of her arms
But the stars make everything seem small
So it doesn't get out of control
I will stay with you the morning glories
And the trumpets of the orchestra stretch sound across the halls
The fiddle plays
The house is built from the ashes
No one sees the stars
And the clouds they pass
Not the chirping birds
They sound musical notes through my mind
But the stars make everything seem small
