Poetic-Verses

'' We'll Inherit The Earth ''

As I chased the dog,
Around the garden,
A gigantic frog,
Shouted out, pardon.

Disturbing my peace,
I will not allow,
I'll ask you to cease,
Yes, right now.

This is my home,
As much as yours,
Where you lot roam,
The facts it obscures.

We've been here,
Long before you,
Yet we live in fear,
Of what next you will do.

All our beautiful fields,
You lot have stolen,
While the meek yields,
Your pockets have swollen.

Diverting our rivers,
Without any thought,
You are takers not givers,
You leave us distraught.

We all need a house,
It allows us to thrive,
The bird and the mouse,
Want to stay alive.

We require each other,
That's fact not a lie,
The truth you smother,
Without us you'll die.

So to us the meek,
It's here we will berth,
While your future is bleak,

‘' We'll Inherit The Earth ‘'
