Poetic-Verses
'' You'll Wish You'd Resisted Temptation ''.
Home from home,
A toothbrush and comb,
Simplicity can bring us such joy,
From paradise don't be tempted to roam,
It's more than yourself you'll annoy.
It's easy to stray,
You're just playing away,
You convince yourself no one is harmed,
For your infidelity they have no say,
With excuses you keep yourself armed.
Your partner who cares,
Is left unawares,
They believe your latest rendition,
It's only others who have sordid affairs,
They love you without condition.
You think it's fun,
But like being on the run,
It turns into a dangerous game,
Eventually your deceit will become undone,
Your life will never be the same.
The longer it goes on,
The more lies you spawn,
Becomes ever harder to believe,
Soon you cannot depend on just brawn,
The harder it becomes to deceive.
Now you're found out,
You suffer a rout,
Those who loved you are so unforgiving,
Now you're the one who's left in no doubt,
That your life is no longer worth living.
Treasure what you've got,
Not what you have not,
Cheating will cause such aggravation,
The fact is when not if you get caught,
