 once upon a time

johnmcguckin78gmailcomheathergibsonjohnnyduncangeishashadowsontheheart

We wandered over hill and dale
Exhaust fumes catching in our throats
As we noted the people out strolling:-In their cars?

Dipping beams to greet each other,
casual Strollers out to take
the morning fumes,

Occasionally come across one of those
Strange breed, you know the sort, want to
Perambulate along lane ways.

enjoying morning smell of hedgerows,
And watching
Small birds flit daintily about,

Whilst we in our cars sit, walking!
 And laugh out loud, knowing
Our exhaust fumes have ruined their morning

 Motorized strolling in the morning
Makes one wonder what happened too
Old way of wandering.

now everyone
Is rolling past
letting us enjoy their exhaust fumes STROLLING:-IN THE CAR

We wandered over hill, and dale
Exhaust fumes catching in our throats
As we noted the people out walking
In their cars

Dipping beams to greet other casual
Strollers out to take the morning fumes,
All strolling: - in their cars

Occasionally come across one of those
Strange breed, you know the sort, want to
Perambulate along lane ways enjoying
The morning smells of hedgerows,

 And watching
Small birds flit daintily about,

Whilst we in our cars sit, walking,
 And laugh out loud, knowing
Our exhaust fumes have ruined their morning

 Motorized walking in the morning
 Makes one wonder what happened
Old way of strolling now everyone
Is rolling past letting us enjoy the exhaust fumes
