Jesus Christ is the light of my world,
He lights up my entire life by both
day and night. He makes everything
wrong into the right of way.
But most of all, he listens to my prayers,
whenever I remember to pray.
He freely forgives all of my sins.
Into my heart's door he has admission.
He cleanses me from all of my unrighteous:
words, thoughts, and deeds. By his Holy
Spirit leads and guides me, and lives right inside of me.
Jesus Christ is the light of my world.
He is my shining candle light.
He brightens my days and protects me
while I safely sleep at night.
