David P Carroll Poems

November

A cold winters November no money no food I'm alone in the big world it's not happiness I want its heat I need I'm cold hungry and all the good times wasted only sorrow and pain but I need to find it inside my heart to be strong or the pain will never end people look down on me laugh whisper comments I'm only human I've rights and I'm homeless and no friend in the world no money no nothing death would be a better option for me but even in death I would never be anything cold pain homeless heartache online an other night in Dublin town full of pain no where to go only wonder a dream of happiness laughter love could only bring a tear to me eye as I'm empty in this world I'll be always be cold and full of pain wishing this November would soon end my winter pain
