Oak tree memories.

Spreading outwards as if embracing me

the branches of the old oak tree whisper

gently into the soughing wind, sit with me,

talk with me, i will shield and hold you

close throughtout the centuries.

Your dreams, your thoughts, oft times

your memories i will hold dear for you.

Future worlds will know you,because

you sat with me, hue me into images

sacred to you, your memories endure

in me, i am the talking tree--"Failte"

You burned me, buried me, dragged me

weeping from the bogs, but still you

cannot destroy me. wherever they find

my remains, your thoughts, dreams,

memories are revealed, because you

paused, sat with me, the immortal talking oak tree
