As a father, you are the director
of your family, one and all for sure
As a father, it is your mission and place
to stay in it to win it, in your Families, life, race
As a father, your direction
will be the defining moment, when all else is said and done
As a father of your family
your direction, will lead them, and teach them, how to live, and better be
As the director, when you say action, and cut
especially, when your children were younger, your word,was law, and absolute and final. No, if,, ands, why, or but
As a father, you have to stand your ground, strong and firm
you, cant be wishy washy, and let, the tides on you wrongly, turn
When being the director
you become, the bad guy much more
So my, oldest son, turns, thirty seven tomorrow, on the third of JUNE
i still remember my litte boy, when he had his first haircut, groomed
As the father and director, i know i ,expected, and demanded, so much of my oldest son, with six younger siblings behind him, for sure
but, i know very well, without my oldest, sons support with the other kids, my--MARINE-CORPS , career, would not have been able to , last and,endure
My oldest son, he was a good man ,at age twelve, as a young boy
i know, he had so much responsibility, not as much fun and joy
But as a father and the director, you have to just do your best, to run the show
and im reflecting, and remembering, my life on the run,in the fast lane, , raising seven kids in the MARINE-CORPS,, training for WAR,, in , ARTILLERY,and always ,in the field, away, and DEPLOYING, around the world, in harms, way constantly, for twenty years,on, the GO
