 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove

Shout for joy, let Heaven rejoice,
Let the earth burst into a song;
As the mountain lifts up its voice,
Let all of us sing loud and long.

For the Lord comforts His people,
With compassion for the stricken;
And taking refuge within His temple,
Where others are that are sicken.

But has the Lord forsaken me?
Can a mother leave her child?
No longer could she ever see,
Or abandon in the wild.

Might the Lord have forgotten me?
Not having any compassion;
Releasing babies to be free,
From the womb through an abortion.

Although a woman may forget,
The Lord can never forget you;
He already has paid your debt,
If you desire to be true.

Your name engraved upon His hands,
Your walls are ever before Him;
As your prayers ask for your demands,
He fills you with vigor and vim.

Your children have hastened Him back,
Those who had laid waste to depart;
Because the confidence they lack,
Made them to have a change of heart.

Will you ever say in your heart,
You were both bereaved and sterile;
Who bore me these that I impart,
Causing you to be in peril.

You were displaced and rejected,
But you were never left alone;
You might have felt as neglected,
Because God would never disown.
