We place our hopes in our tomorrows
Forgetting how lifetime we've borrowed
For by His grace we breathe this day
Inhaled this gift to spend our way
This morning brought His light to eyes
To wake again our soul to rise
To be again His voice to speak
Among others to know true peace
Where are you dear child and friend?
How much of time of yours to lend
To those that walk a path much lost
All paid by His blood on the cross
Today this write is for the one
Some call Father beloved son
That gave to you this very day
To be as Christ your role to play
Do not turn away and say
I'm just not into GOD this day
For it may be your last day here
Among those loved you hold endeared
We know not when it comes to end
Our lives are His, to thank and spend
As if today, this very morn
Was your last chance to serve reborn
In the morn
