Poetic-Verses

'' '' You've Got To Ask, Who's Daft ''

As we leave you bereft,
There's nothing left,
When asked we find it funny,
You have to say we're pretty deft,
Saved by you and the taxpayer's money.

We're off to Mars,
In our flying cars,
Room for only the chosen few,
While we're travelling to distant stars,
You'll die on Earth, yes it's true.

Criteria required,
To get you hired,
You must have loads of riches,
Question us and you'll get fired,
We don't want any glitches.

Female and male,
Gets us out of jail,
We require to start a new nation,
A woman and man tells the tale,
We require procreation.

Black or white,
Please don't fight,
No stealing or bloody cheating,
Keep your readies in clear sight,
As for both we take some beating.

We make the rules,
Supervise the tools,
If you refuse to do what you're told,
We'll leave you to die among those fools,
That'll leave you feeling cold.

The working class,
We'll let die en masse,
Truth is your time has come,
On that day it came to pass,
They decided we were all Dumb.

As they prepared to go,
It came as a blow,
They had no one to pilot their craft,
When they asked us plebs we all said no,

‘' You've Got To Ask, Who's Daft ‘'
