Thoughts of You

Thoughts of You

Why so discouraged,so unsure, and so afraid
You are so much more than the mistakes you`ve made
You stand in your mirror bashing what you see
Your height, weight, looks and size mean nothing to me
You discredit your education and occupation too
As if any of that directs my thoughts of you
Why hide from me the scares of guilt and shame
And search the past desperately for someone to blame
Was it not I who created all there is and ever was
And when it came to you It wasn't just because
With purpose in my heart I formed you with care
With a plan and a destiny that you are not yet aware
Count if you can the grains in a handful of sand
And multiply that by all the rest in the land
Then you'll know the number of thoughts I have of you
And my desire to help you accomplish all you want to do
By my name I want to bless with all of heavens best
Don't think I am against you when you face a test
It is not to punish you but to show you your strength
That you may know my love in depth and height and length
I know the plans I have for you, to me it's very clear
Plans to bless you, prosper you, and to draw you near
That where I am you shall also be
And when you see yourself image you see it in me
Not one day goes by that don't think of you
With each test you face I've made a path to take you through
I will never leave you, I am always right hear
So go in holy peace and power, and give no place to fear
Keep your hand in my hand, stay committed and true
That you may know in your heart the thoughts I have of you
You are a royal priesthood, a most peculiar one
With all the rights and privilege of the Kings son
You are set aside for great things, mighty wondrous works
All you need is here in me there is no need to search
Let your thoughts of me mirror my thoughts of you
Watch and see what we are able to do
