The Backyard Of My Life

Her Red Raincoat

Dipping in the pockets of her red raincoat She goes skipping down by the lake Rolling with the dafferdills While the sunshine takes a break
Stepping in to shoes Ribbons and bows Shes got the world at her feet but she already knows
Shes only herself to please With what she dose with her day
She wont let nobody nothing stand in her way
Every night shes dancing under the stars
Every morning shes singing From her heart
Clutching at her coat strings As the rain falls in
She slowly walks laughing She knows a woman who can be bought Is not worth having
Shes a reble with a flash in her smile and her eyes sparkle too
Every night shes dancing by candle light
Every morning her fantasies take flight
In her heart
Dipping in the pockets of her red raincoat
She goes running with the wind
Watching all the butterflies
While shes somewhere else in mind
Every night shes dancing under the stars
Every morning shes singing From her heart
From her heart
From her heart
