The Backyard Of My Life

Postcards From Heaven

I hope you build a ladder to the stars
And fly around the moon
I hope your surrounded by flowers
On a magnolia afternoon
May you never need for nothing
When your chasing waterfalls
If your life is lacking color get some pink on white walls
Send me postcards from heaven
To get me out of this hell
Looking at pictures of paradise
From the bottom of a wishing well
I hope every road is a ray of light
Illuminating the pitch black night
I hope you sail a peaceful sea
And get to fly over a hundred mile high city
Find your pot of gold at the end of a rainbow
Falling back and making angels in the snow
Send me postcards from heaven
To get me out of this hell
Looking at pictures of paradise
From the bottom of a wishing well
Should they come a day
When trouble finds your way
Remember that i love you
I hope you see the seven wonders and mr blue sky
I hope your heart is filled with passion
And your dreams they never die
I wish you good health hope your feeling fine
Dancing in the rain
Walking on sunshine
Send me postcards from heaven
To get me out of this hell
Looking at pictures of paradise
From the bottom of a wishing well
Send me postcards from heaven
