There was something in the air the night she caught my attention
Her pretty green eyes where filled with love and affection
She was with another man but she followed me around the room

So patiently i wait for this goddess of love to appear
So cautiously i wait for my friends to disappear
Then she returned alone she kissed me after midnight

This gypsy girl had heard my silent screams
She read my palm and touched my soul
This meeting of the minds had swallowed me whole

The most beautiful woman calling my name
Taking me to places that ive never been
Showing me a heaven that ive never seen
Stuck inside a cloud flying without wings
At the golden gates where the angel sings
