If He Is Just a Man
If He Is Just a Man
Most people have heard of Jesus and most believe he's real
History has proven it so what's the big deal
Every religion acknowledges Him in their own way
But they all deny the fact He is coming back one day
They call Him a prophet or a teacher young and wise
Like Buddha or Mohamed and those other guys
Just a man like other men who stood up for right
He was brutally crucified by the Romans one night
If He was just a man as most people would say
Why does the world react in such a way?
If Jesus was just a man, not the Son of God
And His whole testimony is just a fraud
Why so afraid to have Him in our schools
As if there is harm in abiding by His rules
Why so much animosity toward His church
As if their desires are for world hurt
If Jesus was just a man what are we afraid of?
Considering His weapon of choice is love
Love ye one another is His given command
He came to save not to condemn man
If He didn't heal the sick and He didn't walk on water
Give sight to the blind and cast a demon from a daughter
If He didn't raise from the dead on the third day
Why so much effort to get Him out of the way
But if He is more than just a man what will you do
If He splits the eastern sky to come back for you
If He is on the throne with all power in His hand
And you don't believe in Him then what is your plan
You must give an answer and account for your life
Where will you go when your soul takes flight
But He is just a man right, so just go ahead
Put you trust in money and government instead
Live life the way you want, do whatever you please
Waver in the wind like the waves in the seas
When the day comes when no one can stand
On bended knees we'll confess He is more than just a man
