By faith we are Christian,
But are Jewish by birth;
Sinners in a nation,
To sojourn on the earth.
Yet we know that people,
Still have not received Christ;
Though they heard the Gospel,
But are being enticed.
They live their own standards,
Only Christ they believe;
But ignoring His words,
Of what they will receive.
People will not receive,
The approval from God;
If they cannot achieve,
Showing honor and laud.
For we are still sinners,
If we will not admit;
And cannot be winners,
If God does not acquit.
Christ would not encourage,
Us continue to sin;
Rather to discourage,
A corrupt trait within.
If I rebuild something,
That I had demolished;
The remorse it does bring,
My actions admonished.
I admit I was wrong,
Disobeying the Law;
Agony will prolong,
Until God mends the flaw.
For a relationship,
As a result I live;
To confess and worship,
God is fit to forgive.
