strangling and puling you in
it cuts deep like a steel blade
scattering any thought of escape
Do you feel this silence
pushing and pulling every which way
encompassing and devouring all before it -
it feeds on nothing this silence, has no life
Can you hear this silence
as it talks to you, unspoken -
feeding on your thoughts, a blessed token
yet deep inside I crave for some noise
