 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove

When an heir is a child,
He is the same as a slave;
Tendency to be wild,
And tempted to misbehave.

He may own everything,
As far as the eye can see;
But foolishness it may bring,
A ward they will have to be.

He is placed under control,
Of guardians or trustee;
Protecting his very soul,
Until time to be set free.

For we are children of God,
Heirs as equal as the Son;
But we have been getting flawed,
Ever since time had begun.

So we are slaves in this place,
To the principles of here;
But the compassion and grace,
Helps us know that God is near.

For when the right time arrived,
God had sent His only Son;
No longer was man denied,
A salvation that was won.

For a woman gave Him birth,
Disciplined by laws of God;
Under control on this earth,
Never once did He get flawed.

God sent Him so He could pay,
For the freedom of all those;
So if we love and obey,
The fountain of blessing flows.

No longer are you a slave,
But now a child of God;
Worry not about the grave,
Your Father has cured where flawed.
