A Shiny Dot
A shiny dot appeared in
the sky one night
Shimmering with some
unearthly light
Crowds gathered to see
this wonderful sight
It grew brighter to the
watcher's delight
Everyone was wondering
what it could be
A sign from the Almighty
to human society
It slowly grew in size and
filled up the whole sky
With it's tremendous heat
everything began to fry
Then with a mighty boom
it struck the earth
Thus ending all the life that
existed on the earth
The tiny shiny dot was a piece
of a star gone stray
A celestial disaster waiting
to happen one day
